Desktop Virtualization

Desktop Virtualization offers new and powerful opportunities for IT to deliver and manage corporate desktops and to respond to various user needs in a flexible way. Virtualized desktops can be either client-hosted, or centralized on servers in our data center.

Client-hosted desktop virtualization creates a separate OS environment on the desktop, allowing non-compatible legacy or line-of-business applications to operate within their native environment on top of a more current operating system, or enabling two IT environments to run concurrently on the same physical device.

Server Virtualization

Server Virtualization or Virtual Private Server (VPS) allows you to completely replace low to mid range dedicated servers for a fraction of the price of running these servers.  Unlike other VPS companies TWC runs all virtualization on high end HP servers with redundant power supplies, RAID 6 arrays, and even fail over RAM to ensure your server has maximum uptime.

Other virtual server configurations are available by request.  Virtualization platform can be either Xen or VMware ESXi.  Additional resources available include multiple processors, additional RAM, disk space and ip addresses.
 
Supported Operating Systems:
Linux - RedHat, Centos, Ubuntu, SuSE, Debian, other Unix/Linux OS are available by special request
Microsoft - Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows XP
